Shopify is one of the leading e-commerce systems. At the end of last year Shopify was powering over 140,000 stores with over $3.7 billion in transactions across 150 countries. It’s big e-business!

Recently, I was asked, by Shopify, to write ...

Is Your Website Putting Mobile First in 2015?

2015, even though only 9 days old, will see a first in ‘mobile device’ history.  Shopify reports:

“For the first time in history, more people use mobile phones and tablets to visit online stores than computers. Looking at data from over 100,000 online stores, we saw 50.3% of traffic coming from mobile devices and 49.7% from computers.”

That was based on 100,000 sites that Shopify host.  In 2015 trends indicate ...

Keep it Simple this New Year

Every year I plan out my new year’s resolutions and I find that they are snoringly standard: get fit, eat better, travel more, save money and all that. By mid March, I realise nothing much is going to change … Blerg.

“My New Year’s resolution? I will be less laz…”— Jim Gaffigan

We joke about failed resolutions every year, but that doesn’t stop us wanting to get ourselves on the ...

Very often I see people build a website and launch their new online business with the expectation that ...
